MLA Nagendra listens to residents grievances in MCC Ward 1; directs officials to act

Mysuru, January 10:- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA of Chamaraja Constituency L Nagendra took a padayatra at Lakshmikantha Nagar coming under Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Ward number 1 and listened to the grievances of the residents.

He offered prayers at Prashantha Ganapathy Temple at Lakshmikantha Nagar and took the MCC officials to task for the prevailing problems in the ward.

On observing the grills of mini vegetable market being broken, he asked the officials to repair them soon. He instructed them to keep the premises of market clean and not to allow miscreants indulge in illegal activities.

As the UGD was below the road level, rain water gets filled in the area. The MLA who noticed this instructed the officials to construct the UGD to the road level. Nagendra also asked the officials to replace the damaged electric poles with new ones.

Health officer of MCC Dr Nagaraju, UGD engineer Mahesh, former corporator Shivanna, revenue officer Kumar Naik, Suresh Babu, development officer Veeresh and others were present. (HN, NGB)
