MLA Nagendra visits ward number 29 of Chamaraja constituency

Mysuru, July 27:- MLA Nagendra of Chamaraja constituency visited ward number 29 of the constituency and listened to the grievances of the public here on Thursday.

He visited Metagalli Harijana colony, BM Shri Nagar, NERM houses, Ambedkar Jnana Loka and other areas and listened to the grievances of the public. He offered Rs 2,500 to one Padma, who had her leg broken and assured of providing medical aid from the government.

Residents of Metagalli Harijana colony requested the government to start R O plant and repair Rama Mandira. They alleged that they are not given khata papers even after paying tax for nearly 20 years.

They requested the MCC to widen the road and replace old electric poles. They requested completion of houses being constructed under Amrit scheme of the central government.

Nagendra cautioned owners of the slaughterhouse to not throw the wastes in manholes as several complaints have been received. He instructed the officials to construct new water tanks, water pumps, and other facilities. He instructed UGD officials to repair the manholes. He took a swipe at the officials over huts near NERM houses. He distributed free gas cylinders to 100 beneficiaries.

Somashekhar Raju, Chikka Venkat, Nanjappa, Madhu, Murthy, Ravi, former corporator Devaraj, Shobha, Govinda Raj, Kiran Gowda and others were present. (MR/HN).
