Mysuru, June 21:- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA of Krishnaraja Constituency, S A Ramadas inspected Ashraya houses in Gorur here on Thursday.
“I am well aware of the problems of the residents. I am visiting Gorur to find a permanent solution. I have provided funds for basic amenities such as electricity and water. Electric poles have been installed. Borewells were dug to provide water. All these works were done 5 years ago. The previous MLA could have completed the work, but he didn’t. There are 2,600 houses in four blocks. Overall 8,000 houses have been constructed,” the MLA said.
“I have called for a meeting of the officials at my office at Vidyaranyapuram in Mysuru. I will provide all the necessary amenities to the residents as soon as possible,” he added.
He said that he would request the Chief Minister to release the remaining Rs 10 crore if he calls for a meeting of Ashraya Committee. (HN, NGB)
