More recoveries in Mysuru than new Covid-19 cases; tally at 46,844

Mysuru, October 27:- Mysuru district on Monday (October 26) reported more recoveries than new Covid-19 cases. The district registered 139 new cases and 410 discharges, thus taking its tally to 46,844 cumulative positive cases and 43,738 discharges respectively.

Of the total 46,844 positive cases, 2157 are active in the district. The patients have been undergoing treatment at various Covid Hospitals and Covid Care Centres (CCC). With two more deaths on Monday, the district’s tally of fatalities is risen to 949.

Among the districts, Dakshina Kannada reported 153 fresh cases and Davangere 124 so far. With regard to discharges, Hassan registered 1,524, followed by Mandya – 289 and Tumakuru – 283.

Of the 942 patients in the intensive care units (ICUs) across the state, 427 are in Bengaluru Urban district, 61 in Ballari, 44 in Hassan, 41 in Chamarajanagar, 29 each in Dharwad and Mysuru and Kalaburagi – 28. (NAV, Inputs: Agencies)
