More than 15,000 candidates took Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) on Sunday at more than 21 centres in Mysuru.
In Mysuru, highest number of candidates, 1779, appeared for commerce subject, while one appeared for Marathi subject. Around 21 chief supervisors, 26 supervisors, 556 room stewards were appointed for the smooth functioning of the examination.
Around 24 to 28 candidates were made to sit in each room. Tight security was provided around the examination centres in Mysuru. Candidates from Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajnagar, Dharwad and other nearby places appeared for the examination.
A blind candidate from SDM College appeared for the exam and proved that there is no substitute for hard work and achievement.
