Mysuru, February 20:- Mysuru-Kodagu Member of Parliament Pratap Simha vent his anger against granting bail to those who raise pro-Pakistan slogans.
He was speaking at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Friday.
“This is a serious offence. It is a bigger crime than displaying ‘Free Kashmir’ placard in Mysuru. I don’t understand on what basis the police granted ‘station bail’ for sedation case. I condemn this and action should be taken against those who have been granted station bail,” he added.
“It is unfortunate that those who shout ‘Pakistan zindabad’ can come out on bail with ease. I think the issue was brought to the notice of Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai. Sedation cases should be considered very seriously and the bail for the accused should be cancelled and a thorough probe should be initiated,” Simha said. (KS, NGB)
