Mrityunjaya homa held at Nanjangud Temple

Mysuru, May 8:- Mrityunjaya homa and special prayers were held at Srikanteshwara Temple in Nanjangud on Thursday to pray to the Lord to help the country to get over coronavirus pandemic. Priests led by Agamika of the temple Nagachandra Dixit performed the homa and prayers.

“People of Nanjangud believe that Lord Nanjundeshwara will solve all the problems. Devotees have asked me to organise the Mrityunjaya homa. The earlier district in-charge minister V Somanna had also asked for the same. We have prayed for good health for all and strength to Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa to face this situation,” said MLA B Harshvardhan while speaking to media.

“59 employees of Jubilant Generics factory tested positive for coronavirus. With the blessings of Nanjundeshwara and the effective work of district administration, we could bring the situation under control. All the patients will be discharged from the hospital within a week. We will request the district administration to permit financial activities in urban and rural areas,” he added. (MR/KS)
