MUDA sites in Lalithadrinagar: People throng Vijaya Bank branches to get applications

Mysuru, August 1:- On the first day of the distribution of applications for the allotment of MUDA (Mysuru Urban Development Authority) sites in Lalithadrinagar, hundreds of site aspirants thronged various branches of Vijaya Bank in the city on Tuesday.

The MUDA which issued a notification recently stating that the application to distribute 530 sites in Lalithadrinagar (north) will be distributed from August 1, hundreds of people formed serpentine queues outside various branches of Vijaya Bank to procure the applications.

The applications were distributed through eight branches of Vijaya Bank in the city. The applications will be distributed till August 16 and the last date to submit applications along with the requisite fee depending on the preferred size of sites is August 26.

There are 35 sites of 15×24 sq metre dimension; 70 sites of 12×18 sqm, 300 sites of 9×12 sqm and 125 sites of 6×9 sqm dimension.

All the sites have been fully developed and ready for construction and this is the second major allotment by MUDA this year.

The initial amount to be deposited along with the applications is 10% of the site value for general applicants, while it is 3% of the site value for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe aspirants and ex-servicemen and their family members.
