Multi-sport building inaugurated at DPIRS

Mysuru, July 17:- The newly constructed indoor multi-sport building was inaugurated at De Paul International Residential School (DPIRS), Belagola, Srirangapatna Taluk, Mandya district, in the gracious presence of Provincial Rev Fr Tomichan CM, Rev Fr Johnson Jacob CM, principal of DPIRS, Rev Fr Aneesh Mathew CM, Rev Fr Libin Varghese CM, Rev Fr Jarvicks Fernandez CM, and Rev Fr Peter Martin CM.

The chief guest of the function was Anita C, the captain of the Indian basketball team. The principal felicitated the chief guest for accepting the invitation to inaugurate the building.

The lux of artificial lighting, the height of the indoor hall gives an eye-catching impression to everyone. The building is spread over two floors and possesses 6 badminton courts, one indoor basketball court and a multi gym. This multi-sport building is the end product of the tireless efforts of the De Paul management, who had nurtured the dream of opening a world-class sports facility for the students of De Paul International Residential School.

DPIRS is thus ushering De Paulians into a new era of health, wellness and fitness, besides smacking an ecstatic feeling to the minds of budding sportspersons. (MR)
