Murder in broad daylight sends shivers across city

In an act of revenge, a three-member masked gang hacked a person to death in broad daylight at V V Mohalla in the city on Friday morning.

A 45-year-old resident of Paduvarahalli, Krishna alias Loose Krishna, alias Music Krishna, was hacked to death near KD Road in the city. Sources said that a group of three members, who came in a car, surrounded Krishna and attacked him with swords. Though Krishna tried to escape, the armed men overpowered him and attacked and left the spot immediately.

The injured was immediately shifted to a private hospital in the city for treatment but he failed to respond to the treatment and died at hospital. Krishna, a resident of Paduvarahalli, was a close associate to rowdy-sheeter and former council member of Mysuru City Corporation, C Mahadesh. It is alleged that the followers of Devu, who was murdered recently for his feud with Mahadesh, have taken revenge.
