Musical night in memory of PBS to enthral audience

Music lovers have a wonderful opportunity to recall their golden memories by listening to some evergreen songs of late veteran singer P B Srinivas,  as the city-based cultural troupe Sri Venkatesh and Team will hold a musical night ‘Sri Sushravya Dhare’ at Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, near Nanju Malige, JLB Road, at 6 pm tomorrow.

Addressing repoters here on Monday, senior artiste Srikanta Gundappa said that this music event will be a wonderful treat for the fans of legendary singer who has sung thousands of songs in Kannada.

City-based singers D Keshavamurthy, Thammanna, Keshavamurthy, Ashvini Chandru will be singing in the event.  Matyas will play keyboard, Parthasarathy – tabala, Vincent – rhythm pad, Ravikumar will play dolak.

Melukote Vengipura Mutt seer Ilai Alwar, MLA Somashekar will preside over the function, while Kannada Sahitya Parishath President Dr Y D Rajanna will inaugurate the event.

Renowned novelist S Mangalasathyan will speak on the biography of the legendary singer.

During the press meet, keyboard player Venkatesh, singers Keshavamurthy, Balakrishna, Ashwini were present.
