Mysuru, February 1:- Dr Shivakumara Swamiji may not be with us anymore but the good work that he did over the last couple of decades will remain etched in the minds of the people in the many years to come.
The heritage city is taking the lead in paying rich tributes to the veteran seer who passed in Tumakuru on January 31. Even as the chorus for Bharat Ratna for Dr Shivakumara Swamiji is gaining momentum, people from all walks of life are not missing out on a chance to tributes to the veteran seer, who is better known a ‘Walking God’ the world over.
On Friday, villagers paid tributes to the seer at Lalitadripura. A procession of the portrait of the seer was carried in a chariot. Food was offered to everyone throughout the day. More than 3,000 people attended the event. (MR/KS).
