Mysuru, December 6:- A Mysuru-based doctor has saved the life of a passenger on Air France flight last month.
Dr Prabhulingaswamy of Mysuru was on board from Paris to Bengaluru in AF 194 on November 13. A co-passenger in the flight suffered from a syncope problem (sudden and temporary loss of consciousness, usually because of a lack of oxygen in the brain).
The Mysuru doctor offered his medical assistance and treated him for five minutes and saved his life. The staff of Air France appreciated his timely gesture. Air France announced a special gift of 100 euros to the doctor.
Mysuru branch of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has also appreciated the efforts of the doctor. (MR/KS)
