Mysuru City Congress demands special package of Rs 25,000 crore for Karnataka

Mysuru, April 27:- Mysuru City Congress Committee has urged the central government to release a special package of Rs 25,000 crore for Karnataka.

Congress city president R Murthy and district president B J Vijay Kumar held a press meet at the City Task Force War Room at Congress Bhavan on JLB Road here on Monday.

“An insurance of Rs 50 lakh should be announced for journalists. If anyone dies of Covid-19, a compensation of Rs 50 lakh should be given. Many employees of the Health Department have not received their salaries. They should be provided with their salaries soon. A minimum relief amount of Rs 5,000 should be given to autorickshaw and cab drivers,” they urged.
