Mysuru, August 31:- Mysuru District Truckers’ Association has urged for the extension of time limit for the repayment of loans.
Speaking at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Friday, the president of the association Srinivas Rao said that the recent rains and flash-floods in the state has destroyed crops and bridges which made transportation difficult.
He said that the commercial vehicle owners were unable to gain profits and finding it difficult to repay the loan installments since 5 months. Rao said that the association would request the government for extension of time through the deputy commissioner.
Association secretary Mahesh, joint secretaries Srikantaswamy, Somashekar, director Shreyas and others were present. (KMR, NGB)
