Mysuru, February 7:- “Heritage city is all set to host 20th Bharata Ranga Mahothsava, an international theatre festival. It includes plays, discussion and other events. It will be inaugurated on February 11 at Rangayana. Seven plays will be staged from February 11 to 17,” said senior professor of National School of Drama, Ashok Sagar Bhagat at a press meet held at Rangayana here on Thursday.
“National School of Drama is organising this event in association with Kannada and Culture Department and Rangayana, Mysuru. Three international plays from Mexico, Sri Lanka and Nepal will be staged. Theatre enthusiasts can discuss with theatre activist Jogen Choudhary,” he added.
Deputy director of Rangayana, Mallikarjuna Swamy, director Bhagirathi Bai Kadam and others were present. (MR/KS).
