Mysuru, June 10:- The Mysuru district administration is gearing up for the 3rd International Yoga Day to be held at Mysuru palace on June 21.
Addressing a press meet here in the city Deputy Commissioner D Randep said, “Mysuru has contributed immensely towards Yoga and as part of the International Yoga day, Mysuru is all set to create new recording by mobilising at least 60,000 participants at the venue. On the D-day various arrangements have been planned by the administration and concerned authorities for smooth conduction of programme and to maintain law and order.”
“People can participate in the Yoga day and arrangements are made in Mysuru Palace premises, Kote anjaneyaswamy temple premises, Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar circle, KR circle, Devaraj Urs circle, Ramaswamy circle, Maharaja College Grounds, Oval grounds to accumulate people,” he added
‘”Various committees have been started and all the basic requirements, precautionary measures including ambulance facilities, fire safety measures have been planned for the smooth conduction.In view of the big day, the authorities are planning to conduct rehearsals on June 11 and 18 as a prelude to the International Yoga Day,” he added.
