Mysuru logs 64 new Covid-19 infections; tally reaches 50,795

Mysuru, December 3:- Mysuru district on Wednesday (December 2) logged 64 new Covid-19 infections, thus taking its tally of total positive cases to 50,795, according to the data available with Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka.

The district so far has conducted 4,86,841 samples that included Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and RT-PCR tests at 22 testing centres.

As many as 77 patients have been discharged after getting cured of the coronavirus disease and the tally of recoveries has reached 49,478.

Of the total 50,795 positive cases, 317 are active and in isolation, 15 patients are admitted in Intensive Care Units (ICU) in various private and government hospitals across the district. On Wednesday, Mysuru district recorded no deaths and the fatalities linked to the coronavirus stands at 1,000.

Bengaluru Urban recorded 10 deaths on Wednesday followed by Bengaluru Rural, Chitradurga, Dharwad, Kalaburagi, Kolar and Vijaypura – one each. 23 districts have reported no deaths. Only Bengaluru Urban has reported triple digit Covid cases on December 2. (NAV)
