Mysuru logs 30 new Covid-19 infections, 29 recoveries; tally spikes to 53,348

Mysuru, January 30:- Mysuru district on Friday (January 29) logged 30 new Covid-19 infections and as many as 29 new discharges, taking the positive caseload to 53,348 and 52,109 discharges, according to the Health and Family Welfare Department.

Out of 53,348 cases, 213 are active in the district and are stable. For the last three consecutive days, the district has not reported any fatality and the death toll linked to the coronavirus disease remains at 1,026.

A total of 7,99,528 samples have been tested across the district so far which includes mostly RT-PCR tests. 2944 tests have been tested on Friday, according to a bulletin from Mysuru Covid War Room.

Among the districts in the state, Bagalkote, Koppala, Ramanagara and Yadgir has not reported any new cases and deaths on Friday.

949 beneficiaries have been administrated Covid jab out of 3148 intended with 30 percent coverage across the district on Friday. (NAV)
