
Mysuru, June 26:- Mysuru Railway Station has emerged as the first ISO-certified railway station of South Western Railway.
Railway department has decided to convert 37 railway stations in the country as eco-smart stations. Mysuru Railway Station is also one among them. The action has been undertaken by the environment and housekeeping management of Brij Mohan in a very short period which includes ISO 9001 maintenance, ISO 14001 environment management, and ISO 45001 safety measures.
Quest Certification Ltd of Chennai recently handed over the certificate to the Divisional Railway Manager Aparna Garg at Mysuru Railway Station. (MR/KS)
