Mysuru registers 374 new cases of Covid-19, tally at 7,685

Mysuru also reported 5 deaths on August 10

Mysuru, August 11:- On  Monday (August 10), the Mysuru district registered 374 new confirmed cases of Covid-19, thus taking the tally to 7,685.

As many as 258 patients have been discharged from the designated Covid Hospitals and Covid Care Centres (CCC) taking the total number of discharged patients to 3,466. With 5 deaths on Monday, the district’s fatalities have risen to 240, next only to Bengaluru Urban among the districts which has registered more coronavirus cases in the state. Bengaluru Urban’s death toll has increased to 1,276 with addition of 36 more deaths on Monday.

The total active Covid-19 cases in Mysuru district has risen to 3,979 with addition of 374 new cases on Monday.

Besides, Mysuru, the other districts which have more than triple figures of fatalities include Dakshina Kannada (226), Kalaburagi (141),Dharwada (197), Ballari (118), Hassan (104) and Davangere (100).

Mysuru district has reported as many as 3,094 novel coronavirus cases from August 1 to August 9 and 93 deaths, it has reported 365 cases on August 1, 365 cases on August 2, 238 cases on August 3, 372 cases on August 4, 662 cases on August 5, 261 cases – August 6, 361 cases – August 7 242 cases and on August 8, 138 cases and on August 9 the district registered 455 cases of novel coronavirus.

Mysuru district reported as many as 93 deaths in the past 9 days from August 1 to August 9. On August 1, the district registered 9 deaths, August 2 – 10 deaths, August 3 – 13 fatalities, August 4 – 9 deaths, August 5 – 11 deathss, August 6 – 4 deaths, August 7 – 15 deaths and on August 8 – 10 deaths, on August 9 – 12 deaths.
