Mysuru, August 16:- A Karnataka Premier League franchise, Mysuru Warriors, powered by Cycle Pure Agarbathies, has launched the team’s anthem and jersey for the eighth edition of KPL 2019. The foot-tapping anthem for this season titled “Nee Salam Hodi,” has been composed and sung by the noted musician Raghu Dixit. For this edition, a brand new jersey has been designed by TYKA Sports in the Warriors’ signature shade of yellow and blue.
One of the unique aspects of the jersey is the sweat-free fabric that makes it ideal for the climatic conditions in this part of the country. Raghu Dixit continued to showcase his musical prowess with an impactful anthem strongly inspired by the art and culture in Karnataka. His composition harmoniously amalgamates upbeat contemporary music, which makes it appealing to both cricket lovers and music enthusiasts. The anthem successfully embodies the spirit of the team.
Speaking on the occasion, Arjun Ranga, owner, Mysuru Warriors and managing director, Cycle Pure Agarbathies, said, “Raghu Dixit and TYKA, have delivered superbly, with the anthem and the jersey. All the support staff and the partners of Mysuru Warriors marked their presence at the event. The 2019 team made a spectacular appearance, led by J Suchith, vice-captain and Amit Verma, captain.
Mysuru Warriors Team entered KPL in 2014 and emerged champions in the same season. Two-star players from Mysuru Warriors entered IPL in 2014 and the legacy continues. Most of the players selected by Mysuru Warriors have carved a niche for themselves in the Indian cricketing arena. The strong sponsorship enjoyed by Mysuru Warriors during the last season is a testimony of the recognition the team has garnered. It succeeded in bringing together like-minded people towards supporting the novel cause of encouraging sports in India. Mysuru Warriors aim is to give an opportunity to young cricketers to experience professional cricket under lights and in the high-pressure T-20 format.
