Mysuru Zoo to hold summer camp

Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, Mysuru, is organising a summer camp from May 1 to 17, in two batches.

Students of 6th standard to PUC (those who have appeared for their second PU examination) are eligible to attend.

While the first batch will be held from May 1 to 8, the second batch will be conducted between May 10 and 17. The number of admissions for each batch is limited to 50 students. The camp will be held at the Mysuru Zoo between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm.

The application forms will be issued from Friday. Nature and wildlife conservation and biological diversity would be the main themes of the camp. A visit to Karanji Lake Nature Park and Natural History Museum will also be arranged during the camp. Bird watching, identification of plants and trees and animal behaviour studies are also included in the programme.
