NAB ITI for Deaf and Blind bags state govt award

Mysuru, December 8:- “NAB Industrial Training Institute for Deaf and Blind has bagged the state award of the Government of Karnataka. Kannada and Culture Minister Umashree and others will present the award to the institute,” said Srinivas of the institute at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club here on Thursday.

“Though there are many such institutes in the state, NAB ITI has provided candidates with job opportunities and makes sure that their job is secured. On observing this service of the organisation, the government has selected our institute for the award,” he added.

“We place our candidates in jobs and make sure that they don’t struggle in their work place. The training is free of cost and we also provide a stipend to them. 572 candidates have been undergoing training and 378 of them are already employed. 10 candidates are self-employed,” he explained.

Dr Ramesh, Muniraju and the trainees were present.
