Mysuru, December 15:- The Karnataka Christians welfare association is organising district level convention ‘Namma Palu Namma Hakku’ (meaning our share is our right) on December 17.
“Bishop Dr K A William will inaugurate the convention at St Philomena’s grounds at 17 at 3 pm. District In-charge Minister Dr H C Mahadevappa, minister Tanveer Sait, Mohan Manoraj, Dr Anthony Karial, Dr Thomas Anthony Vajapillai, Mohan Das, Thimothi John, Joyen Ponnappa, MLA Vasu, G T Devegowda, former minister S A Ramadas will be present for the event,” said Harry D’Souza at a press meet on Friday.
“Due to category 3B, we are not getting our rightful share in reservation. The community doesn’t have even a development board. We are facing various problems in all walks. We are requesting the government to give the Christian community the prominence it deserves with this convention,” said the convener Dr Anil Thomas.
