Mysuru, August 10:- Nandhana Eye Hospital, a 12,000-square-foot super-speciality eye hospital is all set for inauguration on JLB Road, beside Big Bazaar super market in the heritage city of Mysuru on Sunday.
The hospital will be inaugurated by Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji of Suttur Mutt on August 12 at 10 am.
“Mysuru District In-charge Minister and Minister for Higher Education G T Devegowda, Minister for Sericulture and Tourism Sa Ra Mahesh and Mysuru-Kodagu Member of Parliament Pratap Simha, Krishnaraja Constituency MLA S A Ramdas and Chamaraja Constituency MLA L Nagendra, DCP (law and order) N Vishnuvardhan and MCC corporator Shivakumar will be present,” said Dr K V Rajesh at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Friday.
As part of Independence Day celebrations, the freedom fighters, senior citizens, ex-servicemen and their families will be brought to the hospital and dropped back to their homes after free consultation from August 13 to 30, he said and added that this programme is in appreciation of our soldiers and officers of Indian Armed Forces.
