Nandi statue Chamundi Hills gets makeover

Mysuru, October 5:- The huge statue of Nandi at Chamundi Hills, which used to be a major attraction for visitors and tourists, had lost its lustre, thanks to many abhishekas and poojas over the years. The whole statue had turned black and was crying for attention.

Bowing to public demand, the Muzrai department carried out chemical washing of the statue and the statue now attracts the visitors with its renewed look and its original colour is back. (MR/SN).
