Nanjanagudu temple faces flood threat

Mysuru, August 13:- Heavy rains have thrown life out of gear not only Kerala but also bordering areas of Karnataka so much that water level in Kapila river is assuming alarming proportions.  The famous Nanjundeshwara temple is also facing flood threat. River water has entered the temple street. If the rain doesn’t stop in the next few days, the temple may also get submerged in water, according to authorities.

All the reservoirs of the state including 4 dams in the district are full. Rivers are flowing above the danger level. River Cauvery is also flowing in full swing, thanks to copious in Kodagu. (MR/KS).
