Narasimharaja police arrest eight dacoits

 

Narasimharaja police of Mysuru have arrested a gang of eight people who were planning a robbery.

They were arrested from Unnathi Nagar, Ring Road and are identified as Sabir Khan (24) from Delhi, Dilvar Khan (35) from West Bengal, Sikandar (50) from West Bengal, Kalukha (22) from West Bengal, Muhammad Ilias (47) from Bangladesh, Mithun Torabdar (20) from West Bengal, Paaki (23) from Delhi, July Rubel (26) from West Bengal.

Police have ceased three knives, one stick, one torch, rope, chilly powder packets, five cell phones, four Bangladesh SIM cards, one passport, one debit card and one ATM card. During the investigation, it is learnt that July and Paaki, women from the gang planned would stop any car on the ring road to help other gang members could rob the car.

The operation was conducted under the guidance of Mysuru city crime branch DCP Rudramuni and Narasimharaja police station ACP Umesh G Shet. Narasimharaja police inspector Ashok Kumar, constables Ramesh, Manjunath, Mahadeva, Krishna, Manju and lady constables Anita and Vanajakshi took part in the operation. City Police Commissioner B Dayananda has praised the police for the

operation.
