Mysuru, May 14:- The Department of Information Science and Engineering of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women which organized the Second National conference on Engineering Innovations and Solutions. (NCEIS – 2018) in the city recently concluded with a high note
The Programme was inaugurated by Kalpana Aravind, Group Director, Photonics System Group, LEOS, Bengaluru who enlightened the audience about Components in Chandrayaan. She discussed about sensors used in Panels of Payloads.
She also stated objective of ISRO to design, develop, launch and orbit a spacecraft around the Moon using an Indian-made launch-vehicle.
Benild Joseph President, Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), India emphasized on Cyber security. Network Security, Information Security and Common Security Threats. He gave multi-disciplinary overview of cyber security, emphasizing the importance of considering technical measures and defenses.
Around 247 papers were received from authors across India from various states like Punjab, Tirpur, Tamil Nadu, Tiruchanoor, Andhra Pradesh , Karnataka to name a few. Only 117 papers were accepted after plagiarism check. The selected papers were published in UGC Approved journal “International Journal of Scientific Research in Computer Science, Engineering and Information Technology” (IJSRCSEIT).
The Conference concluded with a valedictory function graced by the session chairs along with participants and Staff of Information Science and Engineering Department. Best papers were awarded for each of the sessions along with Memento for Best paper in each of the Four Tracks.
The Conference provided Research Scholars across India to share a common platform and have brainstorming sessions on the current trends and latest innovative research being carried out in the areas of Electrical, Electronics, Communication and Computer technologies and that are converging towards each other.
