National Convention on Quality concepts (NCQC) in Mysuru from Dec-1

Mysuru, November 15:- The Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) Mysuru chapter in association with the JSS Science and Technology University will organize a four day National Convection on Quality Concepts (NCQC) in Mysuru from December 1.

State minister for Medium and Heavy Industries R V Deshpande will be a part of the Inaugural event while Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is invited for the event.

The 31stedition of NCQC being organized by QCFI is based on the theme “Quality Concepts: Creating Value to the Society” this year and will be held in the JSS IT campus, Manasagangotri, Mysuru.

The winners of NCQC 2017 will be eligible to participate in the international contest to be held at Singapore said Dr N Muthu kumar Director QCFI AND President and Whole time Director, Automotive axles limited.

He furthersaid, the three day eventwill witness participation of various Quality Circles from industries all over India, having qualified in the state level contest to participate in this four day NCQC, which will have about a 1600 teams taking part, while over 9500 members have so far registered to witness the programme.

The competitions and events which the three day programme will include are: case study presentation on quality concepts, knowledge test, Kaizen exhibition, model exhibition, skit contest, essay/poster/poem /slogan competition and a quiz contest.

Apart from these, the event will also include some value added attractions like a technical exhibition, home Kaizen/5S presentation by home makers and the green revolution initiative. While the third day of the event will include award distribution to the winners of various contests, the participants will have industrial visits in Mysuru and Bengaluru on day four Said Dr B G Sangameshwar Vice Chancellor JSS University. -(KK)
