The NCB arrested a Nigerian with cocaine worth Rs 1 crore based on an intelligence input, on Thursday.
Narcotics Control Bureau, Hyderabad Sub-Zone intercepted a Nigerian national named Lary Oayekachi, aged 35 years and seized 200 grams of cocaine worth Rs 1 crore in international market from his possession.
The said person was travelling in Bangalore Rajdhani Express train and was intercepted at Secunderabad Railway Station. He was arrested under NDPS Act on Friday and sent to judicial custody. He had collected the drug at Delhi and was supposed to handover the contraband to a Nigerian friend in Bengaluru. He was travelling with a forged copy of passport which had already expired. His VISA got expired way back in 2012. He came to India on tourist VISA in 2012 and never went back. He was staying in Chander Vihar, New Delhi. Agencies
