New chiefs should strengthen the party: Nalin Kumar Kateel

Mysuru, February 18:- T S Srivatsa and S D Mahendra took charge as the presidents of Mysuru City BJP and Mysuru Rural BJP at an event held at the BJP’s office at Chamarajapuram here on Monday.

They received the BJP flag from the earlier presidents Dr BH Manjunath and Kote Shivanna in the presence of  Bharatiya Janata Party state president Nalin Kumar Kateel. The state party president wished them good luck and asked them to dedicate their time to strengthen the party. He asked the party office-bearers to work for the organisation.

“Srivatsa and Mahendra have become presidents at the right time. Shyam Prasad Mukherjee, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, LK Advani and other leaders have brought our party to this level. We have to follow the path laid by them. Miscreants of this land have hailed neighbouring Pakistan. The police department should take strict action against such anti-nationals. Unfortunate that Congress is supporting such people,” said Kateel.

Mysuru-Kodagu Member of Parliament Pratap Simha, Chamaraja Constituency MLA L Nagendra, M V Ravishankar, former MLA Thontadarya, former MP CH Vijayashankar, Dr B H Manjunath, Siddaraju, Basavaraj, C Ramesh, former Mayor Sandesh Swamy, HV Rajeev, M Pradeep Kumar, T Lakshman, L Sathyanarayana and others were present.
