NIA raids places in J&K in connection with IED recovery, arrest of LeM commander

Prime News, National (Srinagar), July 31:- The National Investigative Agency (NIA) on Saturday raided 14 locations in Jammu and Kashmir in connection with cases related to IEDs found at different locations on June 27 and the arrest of Lashkar-e-Mustafa top commander Hidayatullah Malik.

The NIA conducted raids at 14 locations including Shopian, Anantnag, Banihal in Kashmir and Sunjwan in Jammu.

On June 27, two people were arrested by the J&K Police with an IED from the Narwal area of Jammu. Nadeem Ayub Rathar and Talib ur Rehman, residents of Shopian and Baniwal, were arrested by the police.

Their arrest came hours after two explosions rocked the high-security technical area of Air Force Station in Jammu which was carried out by drones. (MR, Inputs: Agencies).
