No coronavirus cases found in Mysuru: DHO Dr Venkatesh

Mysuru, March 19:- “We have taken all the measures to avoid spreading of coronavirus in Mysuru. No coronavirus cases have been found in Mysuru so far,” said District Health Officer (DHO) Dr R Venkatesh.

He was speaking to media regarding the actions taken to prevent coronavirus in Mysuru on Wednesday.

“All the required measures have been taken. We have kept a close watch on tourists, especially foreigners. Suspected foreign nationals will be quarantined for 14 days. We have not found any tourists with symptoms of coronavirus so far,” he added.

He requested the public to contact the District Health Department if any cases are found. He said that separate ambulances will be dedicated for coronavirus cases. (MR/KS)
