No Covid-19 linked mortality for the second consecutive day in Mysuru

Mysuru, December 12:-Mysuru district on the second consecutive day has reported no deaths that linked to Covid-19 disease thus by the mortality in the district stands at 1003 as of Friday (December 11).

The district has reported equal number of new coronavirus infections and discharges on Friday as it registered 44 new cases and 44 discharges taking its tally of cumulative covid positive tally to 51312 and 49,953 respectively.

Out of 51,312 positive cases reported in the district 356 are active and are stable, availing the treatment or in isolation across the district.

Except Bengaluru Urban, no other district in the state reported triple digit new cases in the state, the district is at the top of the table with 659 new infections and has total of 3,77,251 positive cases and 4224 fatalities linked to coronavirus so far followed by Mysuru district.

Most of the patients died due to either Severe Acute Respiratory Illness (SARI) or Influenza Like Illness (ILI).

The other districts where new cases is reported are  Chikkaballapura (52) followed by Hassana (45),  Chitradurga 40 and Bengaluru Rural 35.

As far as fatality in the state is concerned again, Bengaluru Urban leading the table with 4224 deaths followed by Mysuru 1003, Dakshina Kannada 730, Dharwada 606, Ballari 587, Hassan 387, Tumakuru 373 and Shivamogga 348.
