No public entry to Chamundi Hills for 2 days

Mysuru, October 28:- In the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, beginning today (October 28), the public entry to Chamundi Hills has been banned till Thursday afternoon (October 29). The order was passed by Mysuru Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri on Tuesday (Oct 27).

Only central or state government officials are allowed during this period. Private vehicles have been totally banned, according to the release. Distribution of prasadam or food by the devotees will not be allowed.

However, the temple authorities have been allowed to hold the usual rituals. (MR/GK)
