No match fixing will be allowed in Assembly polls: JD(S) leader Prof K S Rangappa

Mysuru, November 18:- A meeting of Janata Dal (Secular) members of Chamaraja Constituency was held at a private hotel in the city on Friday.

Former vice chancellor of University of Mysore Prof K S Rangappa, who is likely to contest as a JD(S) candidate from Chamaraja Constituency, presided over the meeting.

“A public meeting will be held at Vishwamanava Circle here on November 19. The office of JD(S) of Chamaraja Constituency will be inaugurated prior to the meeting. A procession will be taken out from the temple in Vontikoppal. Former chief minster and JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy will be present on the occasion. This time, no match fixing will be allowed during the 2018 Assembly elections,” said Prof Rangappa.

Mayor M J Ravi Kumar, former mayors and corporators B L Bhyrappa and R Lingappa  and others attended the meeting.
