No one commits crime intentionally: Judge S K Vantigodi

Mysuru, October 5:- Several criminals have been released from Mysuru Central Prison based on their good conduct on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

Nine inmates have been released based on good conduct and seven among them have completed 66% of their jail term. Two prisoners, above the age of 60, who have completed 50% of their term, were released. District Court Sessions Judge S K Vantigodi handed over the certificates to them.

“No one commits a crime intentionally. If this much punishment is given, people stay away from committing crimes. You have to stay away from criminal activities hereafter,” he told them.

Nagaraj of Manase village of Somwarpet (Kodagu), Chinnappa of Chikkamagaluru District, Annappa, Shivalinga of Yelawal, Raju of Belur, Shivakumar of Virajpet, Eerappa of Vaddarahalli, Thimmegowda of Arakalagud and Devaraj of Tamil Nadu are free birds now. (MR/KS).
