Prime News, National, Karnataka, Politics, Mysuru, August 31:- Bharatiya Janata Party’s state in-charge Arun Singh said on Tuesday (August 31) that his party is not interested in a tie-up with anyone. “Janata Dal (Secular) is like a sinking ship, whereas, BJP is growing.” He said, “We are not going to align with JD(S) officially or unofficially.”
Arun Singh, who is on a tour of Mysuru, visited Chamundeshwari Temple atop the hill and offered special puja to the Goddess.
He said, “We believe in coming to power on our own. People have seen enough of Congress and JD(S). BJP is the largest party in the world.”
Elaborating further, he said, “Former chief minister B S Yediyurappa is a seasoned leader. His organisational skills are exceptional, we are going to utilise his experience. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is giving a good administration.”
On confusion surrounding the portfolio allocation, he said, “Bommai will handle the issue and there is no confusion.”
BJP city president T S Srivatsa, Mysuru-Kodagu Member of Parliament Pratap Simha, Mayor Sunanda Palanetra and other leaders were present. (MR/GK)
