Students of NPSI Mysuru excel at MATH WIZZ 2017

Mysuru, December 21:- The students of NPSI, Mysuru, who participated in the preliminary round of the Math Whizz 2017, one of India’s biggest Math competitions for school children which was conducted in Bengaluru recently, have been selected for the regional round.

Five students from Class 6th were selected for the regional round of Group League (primary) and three students from Class 6th were selected for Individual League (primary).

Five students from Classes 8th and 9th were selected for the regional round of Group League (secondary) and one student from Class 8th was selected for Individual League (secondary).

The regional round was conducted recently at St Joseph’s Indian High School in Bengaluru. In all 15 schools participated in the competition.

The Primary as well as the secondary group league from NPSI, Mysuru, has secured the second runners up position.

Fifty four students from Classes 4th to 9th took part with Classes 4th, 5th and 6th in the primary group and classes 7th, 8th and 9th in the secondary group. -(KK)
