Strengthening its commitment towards betterment of the society, NR Group, the makers of Cycle Pure Agarbathies, arranged Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, where 150 employees of NR Group joined hands to make the initiative a success.
The event was inaugurated by Mayor B L Bhyrappa. The event also saw the presence of Jagadeesh, Commissioner, Mysuru City Corporation, Dr D G Nagaraj, MCC Health Officer, R Guru, Chairman, NR Group. Mayor and NR Group employees cleaned a stretch of Manandavadi Road.
Sharing his thoughts on this occasion, Bhyrappa said: “Mysuru is the cleanest city in India and not just once but twice in a row. Cleanliness of the city is the responsibility of everyone. Cleanliness should become part and parcel of life, not just for the council or the authority, but for the sake of everyone. Today, NR Group has taken this endeavour to create awareness, and I am more than happy to be part of this initiative.”
Speaking about the initiative, Guru said: “We are a progressive country. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has given a new direction to the entire country. We have taken up this initiative to create awareness on environment. It is an attempt to contribute towards cleaner India.”
