Number of quarantined people decreases in district

Mysuru, April 7:- Though the number of coronavirus cases is on a rise in Mysuru district, on a positive note, the number of quarantined people is decreasing day by day.

Around 2,902 people were under observation. Of that, 1,533 people have completed their term of home quarantine for 14 days. 1,334 people are still in isolation. Most of these people were in contact with employees of Jubilant factory and Tablighis from Delhi. 287 people were tested for coronavirus. 35 samples tested positive and 174 reported negative. 3 sample reports are still awaited. Four samples have been requested for a retest and 70 results are yet to come. (MR/KS).
