Condolence meet held for Dr Prabhushankar

Mysuru, April 10:- A condolence meet was held to condole the death of renowned writer Dr Prabhushankar at SBRR Mahajana First Grade College in the city on Tuesday.

Floral tributes were paid to the image of Dr Prabhushankar.

“Dr Prabhushankar was a favourite student of Kuvempu. He was a great writer, translator and a good speaker. He was an expert in explaining anything with a sense of humour. He never hurt anyone. He never compromised with self-respect. Though he could get a better position when Kuvempu was the vice chancellor of the University of Mysore, he never used any influence,” said Dr H R Thimmegowda, head of the Department of Kannada.

Principal Dr S Venkataramu, Dr S R Ramesh and others were present. (MR/SH).
