Officials to hold meeting on water crisis in Mysuru city

Mysuru, April 29:- The officials have finally woken up from the slumber. All these days, they were not ready to accept there was a water crisis in the city. With the pressure mounting on them, they have decided to hold a meeting in the presence of in-charge secretary Kalpana in the near future.

The meeting is expected to discuss to find solutions for the water crisis. Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar, Zilla Panchayat chief executive officer (CEO) K Jyothi, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner Shilpa Nag and officials of Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) are expected to take part.

People have staged protests over unavailability of water at Hinkal, Chamundi Hills and other places. As the public representatives have stayed away due to election code of conduct, now the officials have to solve the water crisis that has hit the city badly. (MR/KS)
