One arrested for killing mouse deer

 One person was arrested on the charge of killing a mouse deer in the Doddaharave Reserve Forests here recently.

The accused has been identified as Doddegowda of Navilur village. The accused along with his friends Jagadeesh, Satish, Chandra and Ramesh had been to the Doddaharava reserve forest and had killed a mouse deer. The forest officials who were in patrol arrested Doddegowda and seized a licensed gun from him.

Forest guards Ganesh, Mutthappa, Ravi, Divakar, Raju, Sub-Divisional Forest Officer Ramu led the operation.
