Mysuru, November 18:- To curb traffic violations in the city, Operation Cheetah was held in a unique way here in the city from 12-12:30 pm on Friday.
Instead of collecting the fine, the police asked the traffic rule violators to follow the rules and informed them about the traffic rules. They also informed the public about the importance of helmet for two-wheelers. The police requested the public not to violate the rules and asked them to take care.
All the police stations in the city have taken part in the operation, led by DCP Dr Vikram Amte. Commissioner of Police Dr A Subrahmanyeshwara Rao lauded the efforts. (MR/KS).
