Mysuru, January 14:- The Mysuru city police have received several complaints from the public, saying the auto drivers demand more money and refuse to oblige. In connection with this, the police conducted operation Decoy on Saturday and advised the auto drivers to drop the customers at their destination. They also filed cases against 25 auto drivers who charged more than the fixed amount.
The police have also referred the cases to the RTO to suspend the licences of these drivers. The operation was conducted by N R police inspector Ashok, V V Puram police inspector Ravi and the staff. (MR/KS).
