Opposition parties doing petty politics: Nalin Kumar Kateel

Mysuru, June 1:- “Opposition parties are doing petty politics. This is not the time for that,” said state president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nalin Kumar Kateel.

He was speaking at a press meet held in the city on Monday.

“Opposition parties have nothing to criticise. Now, they are setting up migrant labourers against the government. We have taken all the measures to protect migrant labourers. Even opposition parties have appreciated the measures the government has taken,” he said.

“We are giving citizenship to those who are oppressed in their countries. This is an excellent work from the central government. After the security was beefed up in Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists are not crossing the border. Before the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government came to power, bomb blasts took place in Vijnana Bhavan in Kerala but things have changed now. Rs 20 lakh crore package has been announced to boost the sagging Indian economy.  Atmanirbhar Bharat is to give strength to local products. We are working without any black spot. The state government is working effectively and efficiently,” he said.

Mysuru-Kodagu Member of Parliament Pratap Simha, MLAs SA Ramadass, L Nagendra, B Harshavardhan, BJP city president T S Srivatsa and others were present. (MR/KS)
