Mysuru, January 6:- “To give importance to rural industries and overcome unemployment problems, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch is organising Udyoga Kendra Abhivrudhi Madari campaign,” said national convener of Manch K Satish here on Saturday. He was addressing a press meet at Mysuru Press Club.
“This campaign is being held to unveil new talents in agriculture, cinema, science and technology and other fields. To provide jobs to needy, job fairs will also be conducted. We conducted a campaign to use Indian products and boycott Chinese products last year. It received tremendous response throughout the country. The central government has increased the tax on Chinese products by 20%. Sale of Chinese products has come down in India,” he said.
“The organic agricultural fair will be held at Maharaja grounds from January 11 to 15. More than 150 manufacturers will take part in the fair. Discussions, debates, rural sports, millets awareness and other programmes will be held,” said the president of Janachethana Trust and organiser of the fair, Prasanna Gowda.
